Following cystectomy, the Single J guards against anastomotic stricture, supports the ileal intestinal anastomosis, and assists in the prevention of postoperative leakage. Following ureteroscopy, the Single J helps prevent ureteral strictures, promotes rapid healing, and may be removed without cystoscopy.  
Each Silicone Single J Urinary Diversion Specialty Stent Kit contains two urinary diversion stents and one .028" x 100 cm PTFE-coated guidewire.
