Fibromyalgia (Information)

Fibromyalgia is a complex syndrome. Clinical studies show that 60% of patients with this disorder have a positive test for Mycoplasma infection. This organism is found in other chronic illnesses like Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's Disease), AIDS, Gulf War Syndrome and other immune deficiency diseases. Mycoplasma is very difficult to eradicate and requires antibiotics or other treatment modalities to remove it from deep within the tissues of the body.

Fibromyalgia patients present with a multitude of symptoms. These symptoms are from different body systems, which are often treated separately by doctors who may not understand that Fibromyalgia is a disease, that effects cellular function, of the entire body, not just one organ system.

Once the infectious etiology is evaluated and resolved, then the cells need to be detoxified. This is accomplished using several different approaches. This will cleanse toxic buildup within the cells.

Next, the over active immune system must be corrected. Most authorities agree that Fibromyalgia is an autoimmune disorder where the immune system has been stimulated to attack normal cells.

The normal cells are unable to properly identify themselves with the immune system and therefore appear to be "foreign enemies" of the body. The immune system may be mislead by Mycoplasma infections, or other triggering mechanisms.

TotAloe is one of the strongest immune modulators used to correct this over active immune system found in Fibromyalgia and other autoimmune disorders. It contains the longest chains of mucopolysaccharides found in the aloe vera leaf. These long chains are responsible for correcting the over active immune system by modulating the system back toward normal function.

The small chains of 75-100 sugar molecules linked together are effective in lowering blood sugars in diabetics as well as acting as anti-inflammatory agents. Medium chains have the ability to decrease free radicals and act as antioxidants. Longer chains have antibacterial and healing properties.

The longest chains of 12,000 to 16,000 linked sugar molecules are the potent immune modulators that stimulate white blood cell antibody production, increase natural killer cell function, and enhance various substances that are important in finding and destroying viruses, invaders and aberrant cells.

TotAloe contains each of these chains. Clinical studies demonstrate a direct and positive impact on the immune system.
