Designed to fulfill FDA protocols that require sample storage at uniform, tightly controlled temperatures. Refrigerators are factory-tested and shipped preset at 4 degrees C (39.2 degrees F). They feature a tight temperature control of +-0.5 degrees to protect samples. Units have a hermetically-sealed compressor and use CFC-free refrigerant. Positive forced air circulation maintains uniform temperature throughout the chamber, while CFC-free insulation in the cabinet protects against changes in the ambient temperature and minimizes operating costs. The control system has digital display and door key lock for security. Front adjustable leveling feet are standard. Upright refrigerator 82004-062 includes a door-activated work light. Manual defrost. UL listed.
